The Brownlee brothers drew crowds of over fifty thousand to their hometown race in the World Triathlon Leeds 2017 Event and the brothers certainly didn’t disappoint their public with Alistair leading Jonny home to a brotherly 1-2. Jonny’s silver position gave him some much needed WTS points for his series rankings.

It was a great day from British male elite athletes with Adam Bowdon and Tom Bishop coming in fourth and fifth with only Spains Fernando Alarza in third breaking up the British pack.
